The Israeli math team achieved an impressive accomplishment in the International Mathematics Olympiad.
All six members of the team returned with medals.

One student won a silver medal, and another student won a bronze medal. This is one of Israel's greatest achievements in the competition since it began participating in 1979.
The students trained for months in preparation for the competition. The team is led by the Weizmann Institute of Science, the Ministry of Education, and the Future Scientists Center.
The International Mathematics Olympiad is one of the world's most important math competitions for high school students. Each year, outstanding students from dozens of countries participate and tackle especially difficult questions.
