Sagi Dekel-Chen released an album he wrote in captivity

Sagi Dekel-Chen was held captive in Gaza for 498 days.
During that time, he composed nine songs in his mind.
He had no way to write or play music.

So, he memorized the lyrics and imagined the melodies.
After he returned, he recorded the songs on the phone. Now they have released his first album, "Minus One".
He launched the album with a performance in Nir Oz. Around 3,000 people attended the event.
Some of the songs were written for his wife and daughters. One song was written for his daughter who was born while he was in captivity.
Dekel-Chen said he does not see himself as a singer. According to him, he is simply a dad who sings.
