Farewell to Yehuda Atlas

Yehuda Atlas was an Israeli writer and journalist.
He wrote many children's books.
His most famous book is 'And This Child is Me'.
Atlas passed away on Thursday at the age of 89.
On Sunday, around 300 family members and friends came to the cemetery in Ein Iron.

Atlas grew up in this moshav. Family and friends bid him farewell and shared stories about him.
His wife Ronit shared that his health had worsened in recent months. He spent a lot of time in hospitals and underwent catheterization and rehabilitation. About a week ago, he fell and broke two ribs.
Atlas's children also spoke at the ceremony. His son Noam said the loss was very difficult. His son Yuval spoke about his father's love for music. His friend, the illustrator Danny Kerman, said that Atlas was a caring and truly loving person.
