Attempted terror attack on a Flydubai flight - passengers returned to Israel

A Flydubai plane was flying from Dubai to Israel.
During the flight, an attempted terror attack occurred.
The plane made an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia.
After a few hours, another plane returned the passengers to Israel.
The chief pilot was from the United Arab Emirates.

The co-pilot was from Oman. According to suspicion, the co-pilot stabbed the pilot and attempted to crash the plane. The plane descended thousands of meters in a short period.
Several passengers and a crew member entered the cockpit. They restrained the co-pilot. Two additional pilots on board helped regain control and safely land the plane. None of the passengers were injured.
The Saudi authorities arrested the co-pilot. Israel suspects that he intended to carry out an attack and kill the passengers. The investigation is still ongoing. All passengers returned to Israel safely.
