The report describes 13 patterns of sexual violence. It describes cases of rape, gang rape, sexual torture, desecration of bodies, and humiliation of hostages and victims. It is based on over 430 testimonies and more than 1,800 hours of recorded material.

In her speech, Elkayam-Levy said that the crimes were extremely severe and that the terrorists often filmed the victims while harming them. The goal was to intimidate and humiliate.

Elkayam-Levy criticized the UN and international institutions. She said they did not do enough to help the Israeli victims. According to her, Israeli women did not receive compassion or protection. She said that human rights should be equal for everyone and not depend on the identity of the victims or politics.
