After the captivity: Sapir Cohen and Sasha Trofanov got married

Sapir Cohen and Sasha Tropnov got married.
The two were abducted on October 7 from Kibbutz Nir Oz.
Sapir was released in the hostage deal in November 2023.
Sasha was released after 498 days in captivity in Gaza.
Now they are starting a new chapter in life together.
Many captivity survivors attended the wedding.

President Isaac Herzog also attended the event. Under the chuppah, Sasha thanked the guests. He said that they accompanied them all the way.
Sasha and Sapir were abducted together from Sasha's family's home in Nir Oz. Sasha's father, Vitaly, was murdered on October 7th. After the release, Sasha spoke about the difficult time in captivity. He said that he was in tunnels, in isolation, and under harsh conditions. Despite everything, he said he tried to hold on to the hope of returning to the family and Sapir.
One of the guests at the wedding was Rom Breslavsky, who had also returned from captivity. He wrote touching things about Sasha and Sapir. According to him, they are not just a loving couple – they are also a very strong couple. Their wedding was a moment of great joy after a long period of pain.
