On Friday, February 13th, the Anemone March takes place. The march is held between 8 AM and 2 PM near Kibbutz Dorot. A week later, on February 20th, the Anemone Run takes place. There are runs for distances of 2, 5, and 10 kilometers.
The Gaza border area and the anemones remind people of what happened on October 7th. Therefore, this year the festival changed its name to 'South in the Heart.' Tens of thousands of people came to visit over the weekend. The festival is open to visitors until the end of February.
